An update from The Wildcat Sanctuary
I’ve spent the past 15 years as the founder and Executive Director at The Wildcat Sanctuary. Over the years, TWS has grown and changed. Several months ago I moved to the role of Director of Development & Fundraising at The Wildcat Sanctuary. As of November 4, I have been reinstated as Executive Director. I am committed to the original mission and vision of TWS.
Once again there have been changes at The Wildcat Sanctuary. I believe these are changes that will provide a bright future for TWS. As we move forward and make plans for the future, I want you to know that the animals are being cared for by some of the top sanctuary professionals in the U.S.
We have the full support of the American Sanctuary Association and the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries. “The TWS Board has kept the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries (GFAS) well informed about all steps taken. TWS is one of the few big cat sanctuaries in the world to attain accreditation, and our standards are rigorous both pre and post accreditation. I would like to personally add that I feel Tammy Thies is one of the best sanctuary executive directors I’ve met, with high ethics and a wealth of knowledge,” states Patty Finch, Executive Director of GFAS.
We appreciate your continued support and dedication to the welfare of our animals, and will continue to keep you abreast of the positive outcomes that we are able to put into place. For now, please rest assured that our animals are being well cared for, and that our organization is being managed by a truly dedicated Board of Directors and senior management.
Thank you for everything you do to help our organization, and I look forward to speaking with you soon. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
