castle and vista |
Castle
and Vista are wild-born cougars
found orphaned in the California wilderness. It took many
people, coming together, to help these confused and frightened
little ones. Vista has significant neurological problems that
affect her ability to walk and cause her muscles to atrophy.
Her brother, Castle, is feisty and healthy. He watches over
his sister and guards her. The incredible bond they shared
is no surprise, given all they’ve been through in their
short little lives. The Wildcat Sanctuary is to be their final
stop. Here, they are provided with an environment that allows
Vista to thrive, despite her disability. She and her brother
finally feel safe and secure and will live out their lives
- wild at heart.
Vista loves to play with her plastic balls. She also does
very well climbing her perches and chasing her brother. Neither
her or her brother notices her disability.
