morgan

Morgan, a 9-month-old bobcat was found in a Ritz Carlton Hotel room in CA. Many people came to the rescue of this little girl including, actress Morgan Fairchild, therefore, it seemed more than fitting to name her Morgan. She was taken to California Wildlife Center in hopes that she could be rehabbed and released back into the wild. Once the Center determined that this was not an option they began the search for a permanent home where she could be with her own kind. We were happy to accept Morgan into our program.

Morgan eagerly joined Shalico, a young Canadian Lynx in his enclosure with two other lynx. Morgan quickly became smitten with Shalico and followed him everywhere. When he ate, she ate. When he napped, she napped. They quickly became great friends. Kitty, the eldest lynx was not so quick to accept Morgan and her adolescent antics, but soon Morgan won her over too. Now she is working on Ramsey, but he is being quite stubborn and prefers to nap alone.
