Your privacy is of utmost concern to The Wildcat Sanctuary. Accordingly, we will never sell, rent, trade, share or give your name, address, phone number or email address to anyone. The Wildcat Sanctuary does not send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations. To better protect your privacy, we provide this notice explaining our information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.
THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Personal information collected or submitted on The Wildcat Sanctuary website. On some pages, the user is allowed to make requests for information, donate, or register for events or volunteer opportunities. These pages use a secure https protocol to keep your data safe.
We also collect anonymous general site usage statistics. Site usage data is obtained for internal site monitoring only, and is not shared, traded, or sold to any outside organization.
Personal information may also be collected in person if you submit an email, fill out a volunteer or sponsor form, or join a mailing list when visiting the Sanctuary, or by mail if you send us a donation by check or mail us other correspondence.
THE WAY WE USE INFORMATION
We use the contact information you provide us to acknowledge donations, confirm event registration, and to provide you with information on our programs and services. Personal information provided to The Wildcat Sanctuary via our website, email, or that you provide to us in person or by mail, may be entered into our database so that we can contact you for your input, or with news, marketing or other informational material.
We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties. Our e-newsletter distribution list is maintained separately from our general correspondence and is opt-in only.
OUR COMMITMENT TO DATA SECURITY
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
Credit card information collected online, submitted by phone, or mailed to us on a donation form is processed using the https encryption protocol by a PCI compliant merchant gateway.

Wildcat Sanctuary’s core message and mission are suitable for people of all ages, but this site does not contain any information specifically directed towards children. We encourage parents to supervise their children’s use of the Internet.

Additionally, effective May 5, 2017, our online donation and event registration forms provide you with the option to create an account which allows you to log-in and update your information. Donors who have not conducted an online transaction since May 5, 2017 may request log-in information be created for their account.
