Sasha arrived at TWS a little shy, but soon warmed up to her favorite two caregivers. Upon her intake exam, lesions and gingivitis were found in her mouth. We also had to pull a few teeth.
As time passed, the lesions increasingly got worse. Sasha tried so hard to be well. She would play with her feather toy and lay on top of the cat condo. But as the bacteria grew in her mouth, it made the rest of her body sick.
It became apparent that Sasha could not win the battle no matter how hard she tried. Sasha passed away and we are saddened by her loss, but so happy she is now pain free.
